Oh, Marrakech – you cast a spell over me. Your colors, your light. Magical beauty.
At the end of November, my husband Eugen & I were allowed to visit the red city in the middle of Morocco together with our children. Our wonderful hotel, Caravan Serai, was just outside the city. Pleasantly tranquil, like an oasis nestled in the desert landscape in front of the Atlas Mountains, it was also a great setting for the two couple shootings I had planned.
After every day in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, we were very happy to be back in our oasis and drink a fresh mint tea.
The city itself is a dream for every photographer. The colors and the light in the narrow streets are something very special, magical.
