The wedding of Verena & Stephan at the Gare du Neuss was a day filled with love, emotion, and unforgettable moments. After the ceremony, everyone gathered in the courtyard, enjoying the summer light, heartfelt conversations, and laughter that carried late into the evening. When the music started and the lights dimmed, the celebration turned into a vibrant party – full of energy, emotion, and love.
For me as a wedding photographer in Cologne and Düsseldorf, it was one of those weddings that stay in your heart – a perfect blend of real emotion, elegant details, and an atmosphere that felt both stylish and deeply personal.

The Gare du Neuss is one of the most unique wedding venues in North Rhine-Westphalia – a perfect blend of industrial character and modern elegance. Once an old train station, it has been beautifully restored and now offers high ceilings, large windows, and stylish brick walls that create a warm, sophisticated atmosphere.
What makes this venue so special is its versatility: everything can take place in one location – the free ceremony, the dinner, and the evening celebration. The open space, natural light, and carefully designed details provide an ideal backdrop for timeless wedding photos. In summer, the terrace and courtyard are perfect for an outdoor champagne reception as the sun sets.

The Dress

Verena wore a stunning gown by Riki Dalal, available at I Am Yours. The dress combined modern elegance with soft romantic details – a flowing tulle skirt, delicate 3D floral appliqués, and an intricately designed corset bodice that highlighted Verena’s natural grace.
The off-shoulder sleeves and lightweight fabric gave the look a sense of effortless movement, while the intricate craftsmanship and subtle shimmer added a touch of luxury. It was the perfect choice for a summer wedding full of emotion, warmth, and contemporary romance.
