Pregnancy Session at Sunset
On a warm summer evening, I had the pleasure of capturing Kasia & Daniel during their maternity photoshoot in the beautiful Wahner Heide, near Cologne. The sun was low, the light golden, and the heather in full bloom – perfect conditions for natural, emotional maternity photos filled with warmth and connection.
The Wahner Heide is one of my favorite locations for maternity sessions around Cologne and Bonn. Between soft dunes, blooming heather, and wide open fields, it offers a peaceful atmosphere full of light and serenity. Especially during sunset, when everything is bathed in golden tones, every moment feels timeless and intimate – ideal for preserving this special chapter before a new little life begins.
Kasia & Daniel were wonderfully relaxed and full of excitement. We laughed, enjoyed the evening sun, and created authentic, heartfelt images that capture what I love most about maternity photography in Cologne – genuine emotions, closeness, and lots of love.
